***Reported Missing*** (We'll check soon!)
Dutchman's Landing is a riverside park in Catskill, New York. There's a boat launch, picnic tables, a concession stand, and a great playground for the kids.
The Catskill River Walk, located at the far end of the park, is a trail that leads into the woods and along the river. It is a short trail, but steep at times. Perfect for the kids!
As you walk into the woods, you'll pass a swampy area on the left and eventually cross a wooden bridge. Continue along the path until you see a merging trail on the left that leads up the hill. Turn left and hike up the hill. On the left, there will be a tree with a vine wrapped around it like a really long snake. Just past this tree, there is a long vine that hangs down over the trail (The Tarzan Swing). Go 17 paces up the hill from here and look to the left. You'll see a double trunked tree with a log stuck between the two trunks. Your treasure is stuck in behind the log in a camouflaged bag (contains a box with a logbook, stamp, ink pad, and pen).
Please reseal the box and bag to keep the contents safe and dry.
If you continue to the end of the trail (top of the hill), you'll come out onto Harrison Street by the St. Anthony Franciscan Friary.
