This box is located at the Northwest end of the Windham Rail Trail. The parking lot is located on Depot Road. Please respect the rules of the trail and pick up after yourself or your pet. See: http://windhamrailtrail.org/
‘Round the Caboose park your car and take the trail east,
following the path of the trains that have ceased.
See the old station as it was in the past,
through the old doors have travelers passed.
No tickets today, for as you can see,
where would you go to pay the fee?
Today you run under your own steam,
it is not as hard as it may seem.
An iron horse won't be in your sight,
but live ones may be grazing to the right.
Count the piles of track ties, their number is three.
On which side you may ask? On the left they will be.
Spot the pumpkin colored post number one fifty two.
From here count your steps, they number twenty two.
Peer to your left for the path in the woods,
down this way is where you find the goods.
Again count your steps, from the pavement you start,
when you get to sixty eight, then let your eyes dart.
On to your left, there you will see,
a large rock wall out in the trees.
Walk to the wall, but do not go acrosst,
stick to the left end and you won't get lost.
Amid all the rocks, it’s there you should peek.
What will you find? The prize that you seek!
