Grumpy and I came up to this area for our vacation. Little did we know that before we left, he would end up with a cast on his foot so our hiking, biking and kayaking vacation was pretty well kaput. Thanks to all of you who planted drivebys so we could still do some boxing and see some great places. This is just a little thank you box to all of you.
Go East of Elizabeth Town on Cty Route 8 to the Pauline Murdock Wildlife Management Area. Park in parking area, cross bridge and walk up stairs. At the top of the stairs look to your left and you will see a fallen birch tree. Make your way to where the tree has broken in half, go to the backside of the tree and look about 2 feet on the downhill part for the box tucked underneath. We weren't able to continue on the trail due to the cast, but it looks like a great place for bird watching.
There is no ink, but green would do nicely.
I don't know if and when we will get back there to maintain the box, so I'm counting on all you great letterboxers to keep it alive and well.
Thanks,
Hez and Grumpy
