Additional information: The Geology Museum at the Colorado School of Mines started as a 'mineral cabinet' put together by Arthur Lakes, the first curator of collections, in 1874. Today the museum has approximately 50,000 minerals, fossils, gemstones, and artifacts. Each year, thousands of visitors, mineral collectors, and school children enjoy the exhibits and educational opportunities offered by the Geology Museum. Free Admission. Monday - Saturday: 9am - 4pm, Sunday: 1pm - 4pm, Closed all CSM Holidays and Sundays during summer and April 4, 5, and 6, May 2, 24, 25, and 26, July 4, 5, and 6 and all summer session Sundays from May 18 through August 17. http://www.mines.edu/academic/geology/museum

Address: 13th and Maple St., Golden, Colorado

Clues: Once you have parked you will note a lone light post at about 210 degrees in the parking lot behind the museum. There is a tall two tiered rock planter next to the lone light post. On the bottom level where the two walls of the planter meet you will find this fairy hidden under river rocks. Please note as I was moving rocks I did see some old snake skins. I am not sure if the snake is still around but it wouldn’t hurt to use extreme caution in the summer just to be on the safe side. Please, please, please re-hide well.

Should you note the box missing, its contents in bad repair or if you just want to say “hi” please contact me at Blackvelvetrav@yahoo.com. Happy hunting
