If ghosts and spirits are what you seek
you may just find them by the creek
where a covered bridge steeped in lore
witnessed suffering by the score.
They say soldiers marched from the ridge.
Deserters instead swung from the bridge.
Do their ghosts now cross this way?
Instead of passing, did they stay?
Visit this site and decide on your own.
If ghosts inhabit this historical zone.

After visiting the bridge, pull off on the right at the pull off spot on the road. Get out and walk toward the next telephone pole. You will pass a decapitated pine tree. Stand between the telephone pole and that decapitated pine with your back to the river. Stare across the road. You will see two young multi-trunked locust trees. What you seek can be found in the crotch of the multi-trunked locust tree on the right.

Just like a ghost, this box may disappear. (Since the foliage disappears in fall and winter we may have to retire the box during these barren seasons.)
