On Chemung Road in Meredith, Hamlin Park sits unassuming. Quiet and quite without visitors. Perhaps you should venture there in search of truth, or...lost marbles?
Begin at the trail head and cross the foot bridge.
Directly after crossing, locate the stone wall on your left.
Walk along the outside (away from the stream)of the wall, but follow it closely, for 30-35 steps (which will be made difficult by brush and briar).
A large fallen tree will obstruct your path (Do not notice the smaller fallen trees that are easily stepped over). Here, step over the stone wall and search among the nooks and crannies (on the inside, near the stream) and find - with luck - Pip and Kip's lost marbles!
