Your journey begins where the dogs run free in Waterloo. Park your vehicle near where the kids have played since 1980 thanks to the generosity of the Lions Club. Take a moment to swing and enjoy the view of the dogs playing down the hill before starting your way down the trail, be wary of coyotes and foxes, as this is their natural habitat.

You'll pass between two boulders guarding the path before you come to the first fork in your journey. At the fork, if you choose the correct way, you'll come to a tall tree with a tangle of exposed roots, to the right of the path, after 50 adult paces. Continue along the path. You'll reach a second fork in the path where the tree canopy opens up. Straight ahead are two large trees - one still alive, the other cut down. Take the path on the same side as the cut tree. The third and final fork and you're almost there. The heart that's cut deep faces the way you must go, and it will lead you directly to the tree where ML loves JR. At the base of this tree under a cover of leaves is where you'll find what you seek.

When you're done with your stamping, take a longer walk along the paths, or head back out to let your dog meet some new friends!
