Our family loves Pine Cove Camp. Pine Cove is a non-profit Christian camp located outside of Tyler. They have 7 campuses (Towers, Woods, Ranch, Timbers, Bluffs, Shores & Outback) that serve children, families and adults year-round. It continues to be one of our favorite vacations each year when we attend Family Camp. This stamp is in honor of our daughter's first full week of camp this summer at The Towers. For more info on how you can get to go to camp visit pinecove.com.
Directions:
To get to The Towers from Tyler take Hwy 31 West toward Chandler. Turn L on FM 2661 and go 3.9 miles. Turn L on CR 1113. (This is also Lake Placid Rd.) Turn R on Galilee Road. Galilee Cemetery is immediatly on your right. The letterbox is hidden in the cemetery. (This is the closest we could get to the Towers entrance without having everyone trespassing.)
To The Box:
From a distance the gates look to be locked. However; there is a small gate that is open next to the locked gates. The box is buried with the Dean Family next to Claude and Opal. Please rehide well. There will be something for the first finder!
