Waterman Center, Apalachin, NY. Take Route 17 to exit 66. Turn right onto Route 434, and travel west about 1 mile+ to Hilton Rd. Turn left onto Hilton Rd. and go up the hill to the top. Waterman Center is on your left. Drive in and park in the parking lot.
Look away from the building, towards the meadow. See the kiosk? Go there to start.
Aim at 310 degrees. Take about 90 steps until you come to a trail of mulch. Take the trail until you come to a wooden walkway. Follow it to the end. Step down to the "Y". Take the blue trail until you come to an intersection with a bench on the right. Walk 30 steps to the "Stream Trail" sign. Walk down this trail. Come to a "Y" in the trail and start heading down a hill. Go to a bench-like table.
Look around and find the chipmunk cave.(close to the ground) In the cave you will find the policeman's favorite box.
