10/23/11 - box found by owner. Changed clues somewhat to account for missing landmarks!

My good friend, Snuffleupagus, LOVES to bike around the trails at the end of Old Mission Peninsula. He often gets himself into trouble as he zooms up and down the park paths (one would think that a 48 year old man would know better!).

Snuffy warms up by biking down Brinkman Rd. When he gets to Murray Rd, he takes a quick left to the trailhead, careening around the rocks. Sometimes Snuffy goes uphill, but this time he decides to go downhill and takes off madly through the woods…

Oh, Bird! Somebody blocked off Snuffy’s favorite ramp with a pile of rocks. This is a good thing, as Snuffy would often injure himself and damage his bike racing down the ramp. I guess Snuffy will just have to walk his bike around the rocks. A faint deer path to the right of a brush pile looks interesting and Snuffy lumbers along until very quickly he comes to the first small (not baby) sized pine tree just north of the brush pile standing all by itself.

Snuffy stands with his back to the tree and lumbers off 18 steps (1 paw = 1 step) to a smaller white pine. Oh, no, Bird…Snuffy hears somebody coming and, as he is quite shy (no one on Sesame Street really believed Snuffy existed you know because they never saw him), he ducks down as far as he can under this tree…and finds a treasure!
