Using the Mackinac Island map, head to British Landing. Once you arrive, quench your thirst at the water fountain. Proceed to the Nature Center/Restroom and make your way to the rear of the building to find the British Landing Trail. Find a fallen tree that resembles a shepard's hook. You will find what you are looking for at the foot of the fallen tree.
