This box is located in Botanical Gardens/South Park Lake.
This site is one of many of the Olmsted Parks. To get to the park, if you don't live in the Buffalo area, you can take the Thruway I-90 to exit 55 west. Continue west on Ridge Road to the Our Lady of Victory Basilica. A national landmark. Turn right on to South Park Ave. The next redlite is at the Botanical Gardens. Turn left into the park, its one way only, speed limit 15mph.
Flower Power box 1 This box has been removed and will be replacedin the spring, probably in a different location at the Botanical gardens.
You can park the car anywhere in the park or drive around the park to the bridge that crosses the lake.
Park at light standard #25, just over the bridge.
Facing the lake, look across the street for 2 trees one behind the other and a 3rd tree that has fallen down since the last time I checked on the box.
Walk towards the 2 trees standing. The tree in the back is the one you want.
This box used to be in the top of the tree, but it keeps falling to the bottom. SO, stand in front of the tree and at the base of the tree in is the hollow where the package can be found.
Be Careful. these trees have thorns.... I walked into a branch myself. Beware of walkers, and golfers.. be discreet.
Replace the box and hide it well.
