Adoption Day! was planted today, May 28th, in honor of the finalization of my adoption.
Directions:
It is planted at Woods Hollow Nature Preserve in Ballston Spa, NY. Take Rt 50 North through Ballston Spa. Turn left onto Northline Rd. Take your first right onto Rowland St. Go .6 mile and turn right onto Pinehallow Dr. Go straight through the stop sign. Go .1 mile and turn right into the parking lot. It is right before house #25. The kiosk is at the end on the left, partially hidden by a tree.

Clue:
Take the trail into Woods Hollow, go to the end, and take a left. At the 4-way intersection, go left. At the 3-way intersection, take your immediate left downhill. At the “Y” stay left. Go over a tiny little foot bridge and up the hill. About half way up the hill, there is a green #4 trail marker on a tree with an “Eastern White Pine” sign. From here, go back 8 paces to a long fallen tree on your right. Search behind its roots for Adoption Day!
