difficulty: easy drive-by

Lemhi valley is the area that Sacajawea's tribe came from and she may have been born. It is also near the area where Lewis and Clark first crossed the continental divide.

Sacajawea letterbox is hidden by the Sacajawea historical marker 25 miles south of Salmon on highway 28. It is hidden across the street from the Sacajawea and Lewis and Clark historic markers, under rocks at the base of the "Historical Sight" sign. Please recover well so it doesn't get thrown out by people cleaning up the highway.
