The City of Rockport has a Wine and Food Festival every year on Memorial Day Weekend. There is food, wine, crafts and cooking demonstrations. The festival is held at the Texas Maritime Museum, just off Business Hwy 35. It is right before Rockport Beach. We have gone the last five years and it is a lot of fun. So I whipped up a cute little stamp for the festival and hope you like it when you find it.

Directions to the Museum. You can come from the North or South on Business 35. The museum is in the shape of a lighthouse, It is really easy to spot. It is right across the street from the shrimp boat piers. There is parking all around.

To the Box: Facing the front entrance, look to your left for an outside public bathroom. Go to the bathroom and you will notice a bench to your left. Sit on the bench and enjoy the ambience of the bay. If you go during the festival you can enjoy the music. to the right of the bench (if you are sitting on it) is a tall palm tree with a wooden planter all around it. At the base of the palm tree in the corner of the planter is the microbox. I put a piece of red tape at the corner, so hopefully it is still there and it helps you find it. Please email us the status of our box incase we need to replace it.
