Don’t forget to bring your stamp, stamp pad, your stamp book, and a rag/gloves.
To find the Tunnel Schoolhouse letterbox you need to go about 4.5-5 miles west of Marietta on State Route 550. Turn right onto Coffman Road. Turn into the Tunnel Methodist Church Parking lot and proceed through the driveway to Inman Liberty Park. You may want to fish, walk on the track, or have your kids play on the playground. To find the letter box go up on the hill where the Tunnel one-room schoolhouse is. This school was opened sometime probably during the Civil War and was used until Warren Elementary School was opened in 1953. From shelter number one on this hill, take 12 steps toward the pond starting at the corner of the shelter nearest to the grill. Look to your left. There under a culvert and a rock is the Tunnel Schoolhouse Letterbox. Please return it when you are finished stamping.
