This cemetary is located by the Shallotte 1899 sign , bozeman road.

The Legend of the Chubacapra Ethymology
The name translates to 'goat sucker' in Spanish, originated from the creature's earliest attacks, where goats and other livestock are found with puncture wounds on their necks and most of their blood drained.
Places
Originated in Puerto Rico in the township of CanĂ³vanas, numerous sightings locate him in the United States, Central America (Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala) and South America (Brazil, Chile).

The species would dwell underneath the soil in cave-like structures whose origins and makeup are currently unknown. Other pretends that they come from the future or a 5th dimension. Believe it or not, there was a sighting of one of these fellows right here in shallotte early last year. Our guy is a distant cousin, hence the different name spelling, and a bit more layed back.

TO FIND EL CHUBACABRA GO TO THE HEWETT CEMETARY IN SHALLOTTE , ON BOZEMAN ROAD RIGHT BEFORE THE SHALLOTTE 1899 SIGN . PARK NEXT TO THE TREE WITH THE OLD HORSE PUMP. STAND WITH YOUR BACK TO THE PUMP, FACING THE GRAVEYARD. LOOK TO YOUR LEFT FOR THE TALLEST MONUMENT. SAY HIGH TO MISTER WHITE, THEN LOOK BEHIND HIM. LOOK FOR JV LEHEW, THE OLDEST MARKED GRAVE IN THE CEMETARY . WALK 15 PACES TO THE END OF THE WOODEN POSTS. CONTINUE TO THE VERY FLORAL MARY MOONY. LOOK RIGHT. SEE THE CROPPING OF TREES? GO THERE . WHAT YOU SEEK IS IN THE SCRUB AT THE BASE. NExT TO HERBERT. REHIDE WELL. LOTS OF LOCAL HISTORY IN THIS CEMETARY , SO TAKE YOUR TIME AND WATCH OUT FOR THE BUGS.
