This is a two-stage, two-stamp letterbox based on six movies produced and/or directed by The Master of Suspense.
It's located in Sechler Park which lies along the west side of the Cannon River between Northfield and Dundas. Approximately in the middle of the park, across a parking lot you'll find the pavilion. From the swing sets to the right of the pavilion proceed at 170 degrees across a grassy field until you come to a gravel road. Continue on the road until you come to a 'Y'. Take the left branch for 120 steps. Off to the left about 15 steps you'll find a large stump.
- To verify that you're at the right stump: find an object on it with the same
name as a 1948 Hitchcock flick, "R---", starring Jimmy Stewart. - Pull on it to recreate the final scene in a 1960 movie, " P-----", starring
Janet Leigh. (Use the tracks for a stamp!) - To obtain a direction, you'll need the title, "- by --", of a 1959 movie
starring Eva Marie Saint. - The distance is the title of a 1936 mystery starring Madeliene
Carroll, viz. "The -- Steps" . - Go in the direction obtained for that distance. There you'll
find an object (containing a stamp and log) which is reminindful of a 1958 movie starring Kim Novak, "V------", ... - ... as well as a 1663 thriller, "The B----", starring Tippi Hedren.
