To find this letterbox, you must visit Merck Forest and Farmland Center, off Route 315 in Rupert, VT. There is no fee to enter.

At the Visitor Center, grab a map and head out to the farm. Turn right on Old Town Road and right again on Antone Road at the top of the hill. Antone Road will take you to the top of Antone Mountain.

When you reach the top, enjoy the view from the first clearing you come to, then keep following the trail down the hill, through a short section of woods to a second, more impressive view. As you come out into the second clearing you will pass between two white birch trees. Stop before you reach them and look left and slightly behind you. You will see a rock outcropping on the side of the hill you just walked down. Walk around so that you face this outcropping and look in the upper right-hand corner of the rocks. You will find the letterbox hiding under a small rock shelf.

Take the letterbox out to the clearing to enjoy an amazing view of the Adirondacks and the Green Mountains while you stamp. Don't forget to return the box to its original location when you're done!
