Letterbox Clues:

*** IMPORTANT NOTE ***
You must solve and find the HPATGOF box before finding this one! If you found it previously, hopefully you remember where it’s hidden. Otherwise you’re going to have to backtrack somewhat.

This box is part of my “Til Death Do Us Part” series. Each box is/will be planted in an old, interesting cemetery in Southeast Michigan. Each box is a tribute to of one of my favorite movies/tv shows in which death somehow plays a major part, although this does not necessarily mean it is the main plot. I am not intending for this to be a morbid series, by any means. I find it fascinating to read the stones in old cemeteries. Please try to appear that you have a reason to be here, pay attention to the all of the stones (not just the ones noted in the clues), stopping to observe them along the way. I hope you enjoy the series and your visit to these historical treasures.

Before you head out…

Solve this simple cryptogram to discover the movie that is the subject of this box:

VODDG HUKKID OYJ KVI UDJID UC KVI HVUIYEL

Hint, the cryptogram “key” is the same for all boxes in this series. Before searching for this box, you will need to do some research on some of the actor names, character names, actor birth dates and other information that can easily be found on the internet in a movie database. It is not necessary to watch the movie before searching for this box. Although, it would enhance your enjoyment! Plus, it’s a good movie, so watch it anyway! ;)

Clues:

Start at the last stone mentioned in the HPATGOF box. From this stone, reverse the numbers in the “age in 2008” of the actress who plays Delores ____ and walk this many steps at 350 degrees to a stone with the same first name as the character played by James Phelps _____.

Subtract the birth year of the actress who plays Petunia ____ from the birth year of the actor who plays Ron ____ and walk this number of steps at 320 degrees. To a small old stone with a formal version of the first name of the actor who plays Rubeus __________

Walk past the right side of this stone up the aisle. When you reach the road, head to a gray pillar directly in front of you.

If Wells died in February 100 years before the actress who plays Nymphadora was born _____ walk at 320 degrees to another gray pillar. If not, walk 105 degrees to a large pine.

Facing the object you walked toward, turn left, and walk ____ X steps to a stone with a last name whose first three letters are the same as the first three letters of the first name of the actress who played Lily ___
(X steps = “age in 2008” of the actor who played Arthur ___ - the “age in 2008” of the actor who played Dudley ___)

Turn right and walk down the grassy aisle until you find a stone with the same first name as the actor who played the “lord” ______ by a large pine tree.

Walk toward a large pine at X____degrees. (X = “age in 2008” ____of actor who played James multiplied by the numeric equivalent of the month ____ the actor who played Neville was born)

Walk past this tree toward a large stone arch hiding in the trees. Walk around toward the front of it. Cass died the same year as the actress who played Miss Granger was born. _____

With your back to the memorial, find a bearing of 250 degrees and walk to a stone with the last name that equals the first letter of the first name of the actors who played Vernon, Luna and Severus ___ ___ ___

Lying ten steps behind this stone on the backside of the wall, awaits the title character’s arch nemesis of this movie. (You need to go over the wall to get the box).

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE rehide the box well; making sure it’s completely covered. I think people hang out in the woods back here and I do not want the box to be visible from there.

Box Notes:
This box is completely airtight and water proof when closed correctly. Please take care that there is no plastic or dirt between the lid seal and box. Snap all four latches completely when closing. Please do not place this box inside of a plastic bag.

Note, there is no pen or stamp pad inside of this box! Remember to bring your own.

Thanks for visiting!
