Kid Friendly Woodland Animal Trail Stamps:
Starting from the Pell Hill Picnic and Playground Area
Travel the gray unpaved road on your Reservation Map. From the Picnic/Playground Area. Follow the inner oval circle that has lean-to #25, 23, and 24. The bathrooms will be on your left, before you finish the trail/loop. These stamps were created for the Legends Pow Wow on May 10.

Woodland Owl:
Start out on Orange Trail. You will see an old rock wall that now has many trees growing from it. Count two large trees on your right. At the base of this tree is a hole that hides Owl’s little home.
Woodland Rabbit:
Continue down the dirt path. At the intersection that forms a “V” Make a right turn. On the left side you will see a pile of rocks that are in the shape of a cup/bowl. On the left side hidden in a large pile of rocks is Rabbit’s home. A small rock hides the entrance to his new home.
Woodland Wolf:
Continue around just past Lean-to site #23 is a field on the right. A large tree with a large leader has fallen over and touches the ground. (Careful of poison ivy in this area) Just in front closer to the center of the field is a Dogwood tree. At base hidden in a little cave carved out of the tree is the Woodland Wolf.
Woodland Deer:
Follow path until you pass the bathrooms on your left. In the field lies the home of the Woodland Deer at the base of the Sugar Maple tree under some stones, bark and branches. She is not far from her baby fawn.
Woodland Fawn:
Travel back to the Playground/Picnic Area. The Fawn is hidden between 4 strong and healthy protectors. The mother should be able to see her fawn from this bit of a distance.
