"I can liken life before you... to that of a ship with its prow pointed toward the great ocean as it leaves the harbor for the distant shore. Storms may come, and they will, for no ship ever sailed the seas but had to face the storm. If it is strong from keel to top, from bow to stern, well maintained and intelligently directed, it rides the storm and goes on its way. So you will meet obstacles, storms. If you are strong in faith, clear headed, honest, trusting for divine guidance and with a character built on the solid rock, you will meet all troubles in life victoriously."

This letterbox is hidden at the Orange County university named for the man who wrote these words. Begin your search at the sculpture of this man where these words appear.

From there, turn right and walk to the words of our 40th president. Follow the path as it curves to the left of his words, and when you pass by a piece of his legacy on your right, turn left.

Next you're looking for the "First Lady of Song". When you find her, turn right to walk past her. You'll also pass by the composer of "Die Zauberflöte" and the author of "Pedagogia do oprimido".

Turn left toward the tree named for the director of "What's Opera, Doc?" If you see the composer of "Madama Butterfly" or the man who gave the "I Have A Dream" speech, you went too far-- turn around and go back to find the tree.

Above the planter that holds this tree is another planter with a white-flowering plant in it. In the western corner of this planter, covered with dry leaves, is the letterbox.

Recommended colors: red or black (or both if you have markers)

Please be discreet and rehide well, as always. Since this is a school, it is safest to look for the letterbox on weekends or holidays.
