Pacific's Finest is here for the nature of it! Enjoy mother nature as she is, listen and see what she has to offer. It isn't uncommon to see osprey, hawks, turtles, frogs, caterpillars, robins, buzzards, ducks, geese, woodpeckers, killdeer & swallows. Flowers and plant life are a plenty as well!

Our children are 9 & 7 and were able to do this 8000 step, 3.2 mile, 395.4 calorie walk.

Wear your walking shoes or if it is mid-fall to late spring wear your mudding boots. These areas are well used so be aware of people in the area. It is dog friendly but not stroller or wheelchair friendly.

Box #1

Park at Lake Shore Lanes Bowling Alley and cross the field carefully or use the sidewalk to get you heading west on 53rd Ave. Before crossing the bridge turn left onto the "blocked" trail. Go around the yellow post like everyone else has and be heading south. Walk down the path and continue through the dips and curves. Keep going across the "frog" creek and continue through the blackberry corridor. Pass the please stay on the trail sign and the wetlands. 2nd stay on the trail sign on your right keep going a few steps and then go a bit south (careful it can be muddy). Baseball anyone? Nope just teasing, follow field on right outer edge about 50 yards and enter hidden foot trail within the oak trees. This reminds us of Terebithia! While facing west find the 2 trees growing as 3. At the base lies box #1

Box #2

This box may not be accessible year round. If there is standing or moving water do not try to get to it.

From box #1 go back out to 53rd Ave. Cross the street VERY carefully. Starting from the Oak Creek Parks Regulation Sign head east 71 concrete rectangles. Turn left onto trail. Head north now continuing on trail passing a lot of blackberries. Pass the cotton wood tree bundle and keep going!!! Yep, keep going! Go through the dip. Pass the "Ogre's swamp" on the right, there is a white pole sticking up to mark this area. Continue on through the towering stringy moss forest. Cross the trip trap bridge and go straight up the slight incline and head left below the houses. Turn up the concrete path and turn right on Salmon Run follow this until it becomes Elk Run turn right. Shortly after turn right again onto Osprey Ct. Follow the sidewalk until it is no more and follow the path along the chainlink fence. Head into the forest again. At the first large oak search the base closest to the path! Rehide well please as this is a high traffic area!

Please use caution in all aspects of letterboxing.
