Part of the Fairies of the Forest boxes. This box was originally placed at Bertha Brock County Park in Ionia, MI. Beechnut is a mischevious little guy and would prefer to make you nutty. It has since been moved to a new location.
Find Lakeshore Drive between the village of Pentwater and the city of Ludington, MI and go to a spot where you have a truly AMAZING view. You're in the right spot if you drive over a bridge and see a walking bridge that goes over the road nearby. There is only ONE spot along this drive that matches the location. Once you are here, park in the lot that is just north of the walking bridge over the road. Your quest begins here.
Find the BEAST.
Walk it up to a closed lot.
This way for a scenic hill.
Gravel tracks left.

Double blue-No trespassing
Look for Beast 4 (279')
Find Goliath 16 (arrowed to right)
GW24 pipe
Beast 3 (323') bench
Goliath 17
Goliath 18
Don't pass 300
Go up to the top of the hill with the bench. (WOW! Great view, isn't it?)
View a shelter and go there.
Go into woods on trail by shelter.
Go right when given a choice.
Follow through this open wooded area until you come to a huge iron hole in the clearing.
Beauty D, E, and F
At choice, go up.
Don't follow the arrow.
Beauty F
Gigantic rock? Go down.
Beauty E...right, then right.
Follow the sleeping birch up to Beechnut's hiding spot
