IMPORTANT!!!: I am not sure of the boxes condition. Do to certain circumstances, I have not been able to check on it in an EXTREMELY long time. If you do look for it, I would really, really greatfull if you could inform me of it's condition, or weather or not you could find it. Thank you!

NOTICE: I understand that Eastgate Trailhead may have been changed to Eagles Run Trail. I will look into this further. Also, I have recieved notice that the box was uncovered and the stamp damaged. I cannot replace it untill fall.

Directions
Take M23 north to Oscoda, then take the River Road Scenic Byway to the Eastgate Trailhead. It is on the west side of the road. If you reach the High School then you’ve gone too far.

Clues
Wow, I’m tired! It’s been a long day for me. I’d spent the day in the Huron National Forest, and I thought it was time to settle down. As I flew over a parking lot I saw a large sign beneath me. I decided I would follow the path that was behind it.

I flew a little way, then I was in a clearing. I passed a telephone pole before going back into the woods. Entering the woods, on the left of where I was flying, there were houses. Once I saw a strange tree that looked like a spider's home to me. After flying through two broken trees, I later noticed an old tree with many holes in it. “I wonder who lives there.”

Later I came to a clearing where I had a choice to make. There was a right path, and there was a left path. Noticing how the right path curved away from the houses, I decided to take that one.

As I turned down the trail I noticed a huge old maple tree. At the end of the trail, going straight, I flew toward the fence. I was looking at the tops of the trees, when I saw one that looked like an eagle’s talon. Perfect. As I flew, behind it I noticed an old tall tree stump. Flying up to it, I knew that this would be perfect. So I settled down for a well-deserved rest, but before I left, I left my mark at the point of the fallen V.

There is no stamp pad or pen in the box.

CAUTION: some areas could be open to in season hunting.

Please take care to re-hide the box well. I would really appreciate it if you could let me know how the box is doing, as I can’t check on it often.
