Woods Hollow Nature Preserve
Park at entrance closest to Baker's Auto on Rowland Street.
Enter trail and you should pass a pit on your right.
After walking a little you should pass a "Red Maple and Red Oak" sign on your left. A little ways past that you should pass a "White Oak" sign on your left. When you come to a trail sign continue straight to the Reservoir. When you get to the next trail sign turn right toward the "Nature Trail".
However, when you get to the next "Nature Trail" sign, pass it and find the trail that goes right. Follow it until you reach the bent over tree in the middle of the trail. Continue past it until you reach the gully on your left. From the top of the gully (with it on your left) take thirty steps (fifteen paces) up the trail to the big tree. Most birds live up high but you're going to look low to find "Lil' Birdie" nesting deep in a cavity.
You may continue on this trail to return to your car or go back to the Nature Trail and enjoy Woods Hollow.
