This box is one of 4 boxes placed in West Pensacola near Big Lagoon State Park on Gulf Beach Highway. Find all four boxes and visit four fun playgrounds. Wonderful for the kids! Bring snacks, sunscreen and water and have fun at each unique park!
Take Gulf Beach Hwy to Emerald Shores Subdivsion (subdivision beside Gulf Beach Hwy & Blue Angel Pkwy at the last light before entering backgate of NAS) and turn on Batten Blvd. Drive through on this street until you find O'Connor-Colling Community Park.
Take the paved path towards the left if facing the park.
In the top left corner of the park you will see a trail. Follow the trail until the end. You will be standing in a small clearing. To the immediate right about 20 feet from the end of the trail (where it opens to the field) you will see a pine tree with a crooked oak tree growing very close to it.
The box is at the base of the two covered by pine needles. Be warned there is a spiney vine growing around here and can hurt little children. We tried the pull some down but I'm sure it'll grow back.
Please be sure to seal bag and cover it back up so no one disturbs it!
Return to the park for some more fun!
