From the home of the Mustangs, go west on PA 274 for 18 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Upper Buck Ridge Road (unmarked), where you see a sign to a state park. Parts of this road are gravel and/or dirt, so drive carefully.
Go 2 miles until you see a sign for the park entrance on the right.
Turn right onto the park road and drive over the bridge, then bear right towards the campgrounds.
Park near the picnic pavillion and set out on the Beaston Trail.
From the trailhead gate, take 44 paces.
Look for a "twin" tree to the right of the path, with a bark-free resting log to the left of the tree.
The treasure will be on the right side of the tree, under a SPOR.
A pace is 2 steps, about 60 inches for the placer.
This walk is suitable for childreen and pets on a leash.
