*** Mountain Turtle went swimming or got taken. Unable to find, no replacement. Sorry!***
Mountain Turtle LetterBox
Round Trip = 30 minuets enjoying the view
Where:
Riverbend Ponds Natural Area
Closest intersection is Mulberry & Timberline
What:
Perfect place to go fishing or just a nice walk. Dog friendly, children friendly, 50% handicap accessible. Dirt paths. Hand carved stamp, ink pad included.
Clues:
At the board of signs, take the trail to the east (left). You will soon come to another post with two signs, take the Turtle Pond Trail. There are multiple fishing spots and benches to sit and look around. You will soon come to a little fork in the path, take the trail to your right. You are going to stay to the left as you soon come to another fork. As you continue along the path, you will come to a new improved wooden bridge (it used to be an old wooden bridge that looked like like it was falling under the water), cross the bridge. After you cross the bridge you will come to a bench on your left. After sitting on the bench for a few minuets to enjoy the naturalistic view, begin to head back from where you came from. Go to the second clump of trees on the bench side, go to the waters edge and you will find the treasure you seek hiding under the tree. (This is one of the non-handicap accesible spots).
