From the intersection of Loop 323 and S. Broadway, go south to Cumberland Rd. There will be signs directing you to Faulkner Park. Turn right until you come to a sign reading All Baseball Fields and Tennis Complex. Turn left and follow the road until you see a grassy parking lot on the right. (it’s bumpy so, be careful) Park and walk to trailhead by bridge.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF POISON IVY IN THIS AREA!

To the box: From Trail head, follow trail to a “Y”. Go left, and follow trail straight ahead. A few yards down this path you will see a Southern Red Oak Tree, that is known as “The Perseverance Tree” Stop and take a look. Continue down the trail to another “Y” and go left. You will two small creeks that cross. Walk to the culvert the farthest down the path and continue 86 paces (1Pace=2steps) There will be an oak tree on the right, look left. There is a fallen tree about 22 steps off the trail. Walk to the stump end and look about four ft. down the log to your right. There is a small tree growing behind the log. The box is wedged under the log in front of this tree.
