Distance: A drive by and drop in for home cooking comforts.
Updated clues: 10/10/15.
Directions: In Kernville on Kernville Road right next to Fire Department and across from Circle Park.
This would be a great starting spot for all of the boxes in and around Kernville. A few crude maps of Kernville may be inside the letterbox and the container is large enough to hold hitch hikers. Gwen wanted a LARGE stamp carved, so it is.
To find this Letterbox you will need to visit Cheryl’s Diner, now well past its 25th year in business. The locals visit for tasty meals and to catch up on valley news and visitors come to the diner to fill up on the great vittles before and after exploring the recreational opportunities the valley offers.
Enter the Diner and look for a spot where one might stow a hat or place knick knacks. Yes folks, it is the high shelf with that Big O tin box on it right by the entrance. Take the box to your table while you have a piece or pie or just pull up a chair and stamp in.
Thanks to Cheryl and all the staff for hosting the box!
