This is one in a series of boxes planted in the state game lands of northeastern Pennsylvania. If you seek this box, please be aware of hunting seasons. I recommend wearing blaze orange any time of year. I don't recommend seeking this box during deer season, except on Sundays.
State Game Lands 207 is located in Luzerne County, between Mountaintop and Nuangola. At the very northern end of Mountaintop, driving north on PA-309, there is a road on the left called "Brown Road." Take Brown Rd., and in just a tenth of a mile, there is a parking lot on your right. Start there.
Clues:
* From the lot, there are three possible roads into the woods. Take the one on the right.
* Enjoy the view of Solomon Gap to your right.
* You'll come to a junction as you pass under your second power line. Enjoy the view, but then continue straight (west).
* Shortly, you'll pass between two tall rock walls. About 10 paces past the end of the left wall, stop and look to the left.
* You should see a dead tree lying in the woods, aiming roughly E-W, about 10 paces from the trail. Look in the west end of the log, behind a rock.
* Please rehide well.
