Beatty is a town about 100 miles north of Las Vegas. They have an awesome candy store that is worth the drive in itself. About 7 miles south of Beatty on hwy 95, there are what appear to be ruins about a mile east of the highway.
This is what is left of a marble mining operation from the 1920s. They actually aren't "ruins" because the buildings were never finished before the operation closed down. Nearby is what is left of the town of Carrara as well. Anyways, the second "building" you come to is where your treasure is. Look at the very southwest corner. There is a break in the cinder block. You can only access it from the interior. When you are done, be sure to go into town and spend some time in the museum.
