This is a user friendly, drive-by letterbox near a quiet residential neighborhood. (Residents nearby are well aware of this box.)
From the North take Rt. 17 bypass South.
From the South take Rt. 17 North from Charleston.
On 17 proceed to Pawley's Island Community. When you have reached the Food Lion Grocery Store, take a left if you are heading South or a right if you are heading North onto the South Causeway. There is a traffic light and a gas station at this intersection.
Within a 1/4 mile you will pass Sextant Rd. on your right and come to your 2nd right, Rybolt Rd. Turn right here and pull off to the right. Park safely off the road on the grassy shoulder section.
Look between the telephone pole and the white fence for what you are seeking. Under the smooth river rock you will find what you are looking for.
After stamping in, proceed east down the South Causeway and see the beauty of the marsh and Pawley's Island. Please come back and pedal yourself around the island.
