From the traffic circle in downtown Greenville you will want to follow West Main St. about three blocks to Winchester Ave. which is also Rt. 502. Follow Rt. 502 out of town to the main entrance for the Shawnee Prairie Preserve and enter the preserve, parking in front of the Center building. Cross the bridge to your left and turn to the right. Do you folks know what pig candy is? Besides being heavenly delicious? And full of deadly fat and incredibly unhealthy? It's bacon with lots of brown sugar, baked until it is pig candy. Anyway, walk on past the corner for the maple sugar building. Look for a sawn log on the left, and you will find Pig Candy between the slices!
