This is a nice hike anytime of year. Take 95 North to Kyle Cyn (Mt Charleston turn off). Drive to the parking lot at the end of the road. (Approx 17 miles) This is the trailhead to "Mary Jane Falls" which freezes in winter but flows during the spring thaw. Take the trail from the parking lot towards the falls. Go approx 600 yds. You will start to see small white barked trees with lotsa initials carved into them. Then there is a small rock slide and a "trail diversion" made from rocks. As soon as that forks, Look up the hill to the right about 25 ft. There is a large tree that was cut long ago. To the left of that fallen tree is a small rocky hole. What you seek is in there. Watch for animals before you stick your hand in though.
