This is a great hike and a fun find! From 400, take Holcolm Bridge Road about 1 mile west. Turn left on Warsaw Rd. Go about 1/2 mile to Grimes Bridge Rd and turn left. Go about 1/2 mile and veer right onto Oxbo Rd where you will have the creek on your left side. Go about 1/2 mile and you will see a small gravel parking lot on your left. There is a sign saying "Oxbo Trail" Park here.

Take the gravel trail upstream along the creek to your left until you get to the bridge across the creek. Cross over the creek on the bridge. (you will see a waterfall, this is not this box's waterfall!) Now you will enter the Big Creek trails. Take the trail veering left and then right and up the hill (past the trail map which you may want to look at first).

On the way up the hill, you will first follow the yellow arrow to the right. Then follow the yellow arrow straigt at the next intersection bringing you to the crest of the hill, this is just past another trail map on your right. FOllow this trail about 1/2 mile until you start to hear the waterfall. Just past the next trail sign, you can go over the split rail fence on your right and straight down to the waterfall. This is precarious and left for the young and nimble! Alternatively you can proceed straight about 125 yards and take the switch back trail to your right down to the top of the waterfall.

Once at the bottom of the steep trail, you will be at the base of the rope swing tree. Go toward the river 6 paces. Turn Right. Take 17 paces, just past the third big tree on your left. Turn right. Go to the rock wall between the two very tall big trees. You will find the box in a crack in the rock aobut 4-5 feet up from the ground. Keep your eyes open for snakes and Good luck!
