Well sadly I placed this box almost a year ago (not certain about the date) and meant to post it. Then I forgot the exact directions and haven't been back to this trail for a WHILE! Anyway, it's still there thankfully and now it's available for y'all to find. It was carved by DogIsMyCoPirate and she did a GREAT job. We planted this at our 06 DSA mini-camp for letterboxing newbies to get a taste of it. Then I was supposed to plant it off camp. I think you will love the carving. Go to the Knob Hill Trail (parking is at 377 & 1171) and go .5 miles. You will pass a very small (3 boards) footbridge, then a sign on the trail, then a real footbridge that is about 10 feet long. At the next big tree off the trail to the left (about 10 feet) is the letterbox. There are some thorn bushes so dress appropriately. This is a nice trail if you haven't done it. It's 7 miles out and back, but very enjoyable and we usually only see 1 or 2 people.
