Status of Microbox: Reported missing on 12/28/08, but not confirmed yet.
The "Argh Matie" letterbox is located in Blanco S.P., a small Texas State Park in the town of Blanco. This park has camping, picnicing, swimming, fishing and the pretty Blanco River.
Directions: From I-10, go north to Blanco on Hwy 281. As you enter town. Look for signs to turn left into the park. Enter and pay few at station. Turn left at T-junction and go all the way to the end where there is a turn around just before a pedestrian bridge. Park near here.
To the Microbox:
Walk back to the end of the turn around,and go left on the trail to the sidewalk. You will exit the park (into a city park) as you go up the sidewalk to the 2nd picnic table (enjoy view of the large oak tree). From the table, turn around and back down the sidewalk 10 steps. Look right for the chain link fence. Walk to the metal fence post, where angled post meets the top. The box is hanging on the back side of this junction.
