~This box was placed on a blustery day. The wind on top of Mount Higby was incredible. I have been carrying this box around with me looking for just the "right" spot for it. After looking out from the overlooks along the ridge I just knew it belonged here.
There is no ink in the box.
This is another amazing carving by RTRW. She does wonderful work 8-)
To find it you will need to make your way to the Natural Bridge (N.B.) on top of Mount Higby along the Mattabassett Trail. The views from up here are simply breathtaking.
From the southern end of the bridge continue on the Mattabassett Trail for ~174 steps. At this point you will have walked down some rock "steps" just after yet another wonderful overlook. Stop. Turn left and see a pointy rock jutting out of the ground to the side of a two sister tree. Look behind this rock for the box.
Please be sure to re-hide this one well and to "naturalize" the area so that it will still be in place for others to find.
