The Wood Rose Winery microbox is located east if Fredericksburg and west of Stonewall, near other wineries in the area. The facility is nice, and I like the way they serve you. The wine, needs improving.
Directions:
From Fredericksburg, go east on Hwy 290. When you pass Grape Creek (small creek bridge) start looking to the right for signs to the winery (just past Becker). Turn right and follow dirt road to the tasting room. Park on the left, near the small wood building.
To the Microbox:
From the wood building, walk 12 steps at 310 degrees to a small oak tree (there are a few, so find it). The box is hanging on back side of this tree, about 5 feet up.
