In St. Henry, IN, on the last Sunday of September, if you visit the local Fire Department you will get a bowl of the finest turtle soup around. They make over 300 gallons each year for the fund-raising event!

*Update*
7/4/2008 - The box is alive and well. When searching for this box, remember that a pace is 2 steps. You should go well past the inning sign. :)

To find the Turtle Soup! box, Take the US-231 exit- EXIT 57- toward HUNTINGBURG / DALE / JASPER. Turn LEFT onto US-231 / IN-45. Turn RIGHT onto W 1100 SOUTH. (You will see the sign for St. Henry)

Once in town, look for the St. Henry Fire Department. Across the street is Market. Turn onto Market. Before the curve look to your left for the ball field. Pull into the drive on the left and walk towards the bleachers. From the first inning, walk straight about 12 paces. Turtle Soup! is at the base of a tree cluster under a brick.

If you have time for a bite to eat, visit the Bungalow Bar. If you missed the finest turtle soup, you can taste the town's famous fried chicken!
