Horror movie king John Carpenter was born in Carthage, New York but he and his family moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1953. Many of his movies have Bowling Green references. This letterbox holds one of five John Carpenter stamps planted in the Bowling Green area.

Village of the Damned Box:

An American village is visited by some unknown life form which leaves the women of the village pregnant. Nine months later, the babies are born, and they all look normal, but it doesn't take the "parents" long to realize that the kids are not human or humane. Beware the Children!

Make your way to the historic Mt. Moriah Cemetery off Fairview Ave. It was established in 1862 and named after the Holy Hill in Jerusalem where Solomon constructed the great Temple. It is the oldest African-American cemetery in Warren County and also holds the children for whom you are searching.

Enter through the old gates and drive straight. Do not turn off the main road. It will take you around a curve, along the tree line. If you park by Buford the diamond will point the way.

I hear HermitCrab's Imaginary Friends keep wanting to come and play. If you're in the area, round them up. I don't think my children are all that sympathetic to the friends even though that Jones isn't as innocent as he looks.
