Enter Dimple Dell Park at the parking lot located approx. 2784 East, Dimple Dell Road. Walk East (right) onto a bark mulch trail. Continue down a short hill and bear left. (A dirt trail bears right to a monument to a picnic area that the Mormon Pioneers used as a place to relax with their families when they weren't working. These Mormons were working on the Temple Quarry at Little Cottonwood Canyon to get granite for the building of the Salt Lake Temple. You should definitely see this monument and the views of the mountains from this lovely spot.)

After you bear left on the bark mulch path you'll see a pond coming up on your right. (It is often drained in the winter). There are Cattails on either end of the pond. We've planted a cat stamp near this pond.

Continue west on the bark mulch path. You'll pass a large pile of rocks on your left and the pond will be on your right. Take a small path on your right toward the center of the pond. There are two signs on this path requesting that you keep kids and dogs out of the pond. They are somewhat hidden by tall grasses. Near the 2nd sign (closer to the pond) you'll see a pile of 3 large rocks. On the pond side of these rocks you'll see several smaller rocks blocking a crevice. Remove these rocks and you should find the "Cat-tail" letterbox nestled inside these 3 big rocks. Enjoy! Snowflake and MusicMaker
