Fron Dayton-Xenia Road, turn onto Forestdale...you can only turn one way...and go to Highmont St. Turn right on
Highmont and go down the hill and into the park entrance.
Facing the C.I. Beaver Hall, walk along the left side of the building to the path and across the bridge. Look to your right and see another bridge across the playground. Cross that bridge and walk about 13 paces. Looking to the right you will see a medium sized tree about seven steps from the trail. In a large hole at the base of this tree you will find "A Fir Fan".
