This letterbox is located in Marsh Sanctuary, at 114 South Bedford Road (Route 172)in Mount Kisco. It is about 1/2 mile east of Route 117, on the right side of the road, just past Stratford Drive. Located on 150 acres, privately-owned Marsh Sanctuary is open for hiking. The Sanctuary includes a 350-seat, Greek-style amphitheater, wildflower garden, hiking trails and a boardwalk into the marsh.

(If you'd like to this as a drive-by, see below)

Follow the red and blue marked path; go down the first five stone steps at the amphitheatre and make a left to stay on this trail. The trail will go uphill for a while, and then level off.

After a large rock outcropping on the right, the path will split; continue left on the red and blue trail. After a short time, you will see some white houses with grey roofs on your right. Then you will cross a small road into an area with a sign that says "Visitors Parking" and a small shack.

****If you would like to do this box as a drive-by, take Sarles Street (go south on Rte 172) to the Marsh Sanctuary entrance (opposite #71) This will bring you to the Visitors Parking lot****

Continue on the path over a small wooden bridge and note a pond on your left. Soon after, when the path splits, take the blue path to the right. About 40 feet further, the trail will split again. Follow the path that is lined with rocks. Follow the low rock wall on the right. Near the end of this wall, and just before a 4-sister tree, the wall will become higher. The letterbox is in the wall at a point about 10 feet to the right of the 4-sister tree, even with the largest tree in this section of the wall. Please hide thoroughly. Thank you.
