~This is a wonderful concept that was thought up by Liz of The Penguin Patrol of Kentucky.

Twelve letterboxers from around the country got together (electronically) and came up with a complete letterbox each. We all get to see and plant each other's creations for a limited time. Starting on November 1, 2007 and going through October of 2008 each letterbox will make a stop in each of the 12 areas for an ~ three week period. The clues will stay the same each month and a new box will be in place from the 1st through the 21st. There will be no box the last week of each month as that time is needed to send it to its next stop.

Please check back for the new letterbox each month so that you are sure not to miss any of these wonderful creations. Also, there is a first finder gift in each of these boxes.

If you have any questions just e-mail me ;-)

From Route 195 in Mansfield Center, turn onto Cemetery Road. You will pass a cemetery on the right and then on the left. Take your first left on to Echo Road and travel just about .1 mile to a small pull off on the right side of the road. Park here and start down the well defined trail.

Follow the white, intermittent trail signs on a very well defined trail.

Pass a pond/kettle hole(?)on your left as the trail bends right.

Come to a "Y" and stay to the right.

Come to a "T" and stop.

Take a reading of ~310° and walk about 25 steps to a two sister tree.

Look behind it, under a stump.

This is about a 5 minute walk each way.

Please be sure to hide these letterboxes well, as they have more stops to make 8-)

Enjoy the year of fun.
Flutterby~
