Go to Cotton Wood Parking
Follow gravel path to boat launch area
Gravel path at Hiking Path Note: There is a sign
Go along gravel path walking along the river
River should be on right for half of journey
Past Cattle gate
Stay on path passing three trees and row of berry bushes on left. River should still be on right.
Path turns to bark chips follow into trees
Down hill into forest
67 steps from start of decline into trees is a Ivy Fortress on left.
Steep hillside
Go to through Ivy Arch into the Fortress
Five trees guard the letterbox careful the Ivy covers it.
Very kid friendly have fun watch for stinging nettle.
