These letterboxes are located at Holly Recreation Area in Holly, MI. A holly plant seemed like a logical thing to send you hunting for - can you find it? There are some diversions in your way…

From this point, take 36 steps to arch on right side of trail. From the middle of the arch, look 110 degrees. This is not Holly - you will find Holey in the knothole of a multi-trunk tree.

Go 8 paces. At 270 degrees, look through an arboreal doorway, and see 1 very large tree with 2-3 trunks and 1 broken off. Your treasure is hidden in the crotch of this tree. But, alas, still not Holly – this is Hailey. (An image of the sweetest kitten ever.)

Go down a hill, where root steps turn to sand. At the very bottom, on the right you will see a curving line of rocks a short way off the trail. A fallen log points to the rock that hides your final prize – HOLLY!
