Our family is originally from the Boiling Springs Pennsylvania area and now reside in Boiling Springs, SC. We have hidden our first letterbox with the same bubble stamp up at Childrens Lake in Boiling Springs Pennsylvania. We chose a bubble stamp because in PA that lake has tons of the bubbles from the natural springs and the school in town is known as the bubblers.

Please wear proper footwear when looking for our box. You will be walking in a wooded area.

Our box is hidden at the McMillin Park in Boiling Springs. To get to the park you need to get on HWY 9 and go toward Lake Bowen or away from Spartanburg. You will be making a right onto McMillin Drive. You will know you are on the correct road because you will drive behind the Blockbuster video and also there on the right is the "Boiling Spring" site. I believe there is also a brown sign with the parks name right before the road on Hwy 9.

Stay on McMillin Drive for about 3-4 miles. You will come to an area that on the right has brick type townhomes and on the left looks like nothing but a field of grass. This field of grass is part of the park. There is a large sign that says something about being the future site of McMillin Park. If you go a bit further you will see you can turn left and drive up to the parking lot. Park near the playground.

This park has a disc golf course. You need to follow the course all the way until you get to the basket for number 4. When you are looking at number 4 basket you see that it is centered behind the middle of two trees. You can see that there is a path ahead of you that goes up and right and a path that goes just to the right. You want to take the path that goes just to the right. This will take you to the tee off for basket 5. Stand at the tee off and look towards the number 5 basket. Then turn your head and look to the right. You will see down the little cliff that there are some tree logs laying in a pile. You will find our box hidden among them.

Please be sure that you reseal all the bags well to protect from animals and weather. Also rehide the box exactly where you found it. If need be please also cover with leaves so that the box can not be seen easily by passerbys.

You may email us at jshough@bellsouth.net to let us know of any problems with the box or to tell us about your adventure.
